A first-time Makeup Glam appointment is a lot simpler than it sounds. We start with a short consult, then I prep your skin and apply a full face, including optional lashes. Most sessions run 45 to 90 minutes, and my Makeup Glam service is booked for 70 minutes at $90. If you want a dedicated consult, I book that separately as a $50 consult. For this service, full prepayment is required and non-refundable, so I like to make sure you feel clear and confident before we start.

Bring this with you: 2 to 4 inspiration photos (good lighting, front-facing), and your preferred lip color if you’re picky about undertones.

- Avoid trying a brand-new active (like retinol) the morning of. If you’re sensitive, keep your routine simple.
- If you use SPF, keep it lightweight. Heavy SPF can cause makeup to slide, especially in summer humidity.

1) The consult (5 to 10 minutes)

I’ll also ask about your outfit color, your event lighting, and if you’ll be outside by the Hackensack River corridor where wind and humidity can change how makeup wears.
2) Skin prep (5 to 10 minutes)
I prep based on your skin in front of me that day, not based on what “should” work. If you’re oily in the T-zone, I’ll prep for grip and long-wear. If you’re dry, I’ll prep for comfort so you don’t look patchy by hour three.
3) Complexion, eyes, and brows (35 to 55 minutes)
This is where the glam makeup looks come together. I’ll balance coverage so your skin still looks like skin, then we build the eyes in layers. You’ll see me check symmetry as we go and I’ll pause for quick mirror checks, because I want you happy at every step. 4) Optional lashes + setting (5 to 15 minutes)
